The flexibility of our WMS allows us to cater for a wide range of businesses, from small parts pick/pack/storage through to high volume pallet customers.

Our warehouses are all configured to give a variety of cost-effective storage options, from pallet to multiple shelf and Storeganizer storage options.

Yantra customers can choose to either store all their stock in one warehouse or spread it across our regional network, to provide faster fulfilment options, including same day delivery to many customers.

With our world class WMS, you can be sure that stock is always in the right place at the right time for super-efficient picking while all the information you need is available online at the click of a button.

Pick & Pack operation

The functionality rich world class WMS lies at the heart of Yantra’s fulfilment operation, streamlining and co-ordinating warehouse functions to make sure orders are shipped as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Our world class WMS automatically calculates optimal pick paths and guides pickers around designated locations where goods are scanned and sent to the pack station. The system operates to such a high level of accuracy that the possibility of error picking is virtually eliminated.

Picked goods are then taken to a packing table, where they are packaged and scanned again to confirm that the order is correct. Once an order is completed and packaged, the WMS prints a label with full customer and despatch information.

In 2020 we plan to further improve efficiency with the introduction of the new SnapCart autonomous mobile robot (AMR), adding state of the art robotic solutions to the picking function.

Goods-in receiving

All stock is scanned and receipted by our warehouse management system using the product barcode. Full details of the delivery are immediately available in the online portal, allowing customers to confirm the correct items and quantities have been delivered or if there are any discrepancies against purchase orders that require further action.

All receipted stock is immediately available for pick, reducing out of stocks and helping to ensure all orders are delivered on time, in full.

Despatch & Shipping

Yantra operates a network of tried and trusted independent hauliers and couriers to manage final mile delivery. We already work with most of the major providers but can integrate new providers into our system as required.

Customers can choose to use their own preferred transport provider or take advantage of preferential rates from a pre-approved Yantra provider.

Returns

As with goods-in, all returns are processed through the warehouse management system, allowing customers to monitor progress in real time via the online portal. This provides complete visibility of all returned goods in the warehouse and any returns still outstanding.

Cutting edge technology complemented by a highly trained workforce means that we can offer pick accuracy of up to 99.9 percent. This dramatically reduces the number of returns associated with pick errors, which along with damage in transit, account for 50 percent of all returns.

Kitting

Yantra can cater for a wide range of kitting requirements. We provide a fully tracked kitting process with live updates to help maintain stock accuracy. Charges for kitting are based on individual requirements at an agreed rate against either time or production levels.

Reworking & other value-added tasks

Re-working of stock, either by pallet or by case, is available on request. We are happy to consider any value-added services requirements, which will be charged at an hourly rate, subject to agreement.
